WHJE & CHTV Alumni Night

On Thursday, September 26, Carmel High School and Carmel Clay Historical Society are hosting a WHJE and CHTV alumni evening. Alumni are invited to take a tour of the WHJE and CHTV studios from 5-6pm, followed by a panel discussion of alumni for current students about how Carmel’s broadcasting programs prepared them for a career in the field and what current CHS students can do to get the most out of their time in the programs.

At 7:30pm the public is invited to a free presentation in CHS’s Dale E. Graham Auditorium by emcee Scott Sander, anchor of WISH-TV’s Daybreak, and keynote speaker Steve Inskeep, host of NPR’s Morning Edition and Up First.

The Carmel Clay Historical Society is proud of the history of Carmel’s broadcasting programs and is grateful for the collaboration of CHS teachers and alumni to share their experience and expertise with current and prospective broadcasting students at this event. This presentation is in conjunction with Carmel Clay Historical Society’s current exhibit: “Rockin’ Out with WHJE and CHTV.”

Join us on September 26 for a celebration of WHJE and CHTV. No registration is required to attend.
