The Carmel Clay Historical Society developed a PowerPoint presentation and accompanying curriculum materials for use in local school. Students study local history in second grade. The presentation is available through Carmel Educational Services. Contact Carmel Director of Curriculum Martha McFarland at mmcfarla@ccs.k12.in.us for more information.In addition, the CCHS can visit local schools to talk about local history. This offering is free and includes hands-on artifacts students can utilize.The society is currently working to develop a PowerPoint presentation about Hamilton County for local third-grade students.
